Once you contact us, we’ll start by chatting over the phone so that we can learn more about one another. We’ll have some questions to ask you about your pet and your home, which will help us (and you) decide if we will be a good fit. You’ll probably have lots of questions for us too!
Once we all decide that Forest Park Pet Sitters may be a good fit, we’ll set up a time to come to your home for a Meet-and-Greet Visit, free of charge. You’ll need to be present for this visit, so we’ll schedule a time that works with your schedule and ours. This Meet-and-Greet Visit will give us a chance to meet your pets, and more importantly, for your pets to meet us! At this time, we can discuss more of the specifics about our visits and what you’ll need. We’ll bring with us some forms that we’ll complete together. These forms will help ensure that we have all of the information we need to provide your pets with the best care possible in your absence. The forms will also help you understand exactly what you can expect of us as we care for your pet(s) and your home. Before we arrive for our Meet-and-Greet Visit, you may also find it helpful to review our Important Policies and Services and Prices, so you can ask us any questions you may have.
The Meet-and-Greet Visit does not obligate you to hire Forest Park Pet Sitters for the job (although we hope that you will!) You can feel free to take some time after our Meet-and-Greet Visit to think about this important decision before making official arrangements for pet sitting or dog walking.
If you decide on the spot that Forest Park Pet Sitters is right for the job, then we can make arrangements right then and there for pet sitting or dog walking. You can also provide us with a copy of your house key at this time, or we can make arrangements to obtain the key from you sometime before our first official visit.
Also, before our first official visit, we encourage you to consult the Pet Sitting Checklist to help you make sure that you and your pet(s) are all set for us to arrive.
And then…..it’s time for some pet sitting!
